Quick Spicy Alu Chaat

Ingredients

  • Boiled potatoes - 3 (250 grams) (diced)
  • Tomato - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Green coriander - 2 to 3 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Sev - 2 tbsp
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chillly powder - less than 1/4 tsp
  • Ginger - 1/2 inch baton (finely chopped)
  • Green chilly - 1 to 2 (finely chopped)
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Chaat masala - 1/4 tsp
  • Black salt - less than 1/4 tsp
  • Green coriander chutney - 2 tsp

Directions

How to make Quick Spicy alu chaat

  1. Heat a pan for preparing this quick aloo chaat. Add some oil to the hot pan and let it heat sufficiently. Then to it add finely chopped ginger, green chilies and saute for a while. Now add coriander powder and roast for a while.
  2. After this add tomato, salt, black salt, red chilly powder and potatoes. Mix everything really well. Then add roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, green coriander chutney and sweet chutney. Mix everything really well and turn off the flame.
  3. To it now mix finely chopped green coriander and stir to mix well. Chaat is ready, transfer it to a serving plate. Garnish with some green coriander and sev. Quick and instant aloo chaat is ready, serve it as a snack and relish eating.

Suggestions

  1. Instead of sweet chutney you can use tomato sauce.
  2. If green coriander chutney is not available then you can increase the quantity of green chilies.
  3. If you have pomegranate seeds available then add them from the top as well.
