Pickled Eggs

Ingredients

  • 12 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups vinegar (white or apple cider)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Tablespoon pickling spice

Directions

Hard boil and peel the eggs

  1. In a saucepan, bring vinegar, water, salt, and pickling spice to a boil.
  2. Turn down heat and simmer for 5 minutes and let cool slightly
  3. Place peeled eggs in a jar.
  4. Pour the liquid over the eggs.
  5. Let cool for 1 hour.

Refrigerate for at least 3 days.

  1. They will last for several months once refrigerated.
