Green Protein Smoothie

Ingredients
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (25g protein)
- 2 cups fresh baby spinach
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- ½ frozen banana
½ cup frozen mango chunks
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp matcha powder (optional — boosts metabolism)
- Ice as needed
Directions
- Add almond milk to blender first (liquid first prevents blending issues).
- Add spinach, then frozen fruit, then protein powder on top.
Add chia seeds and matcha if using.
- Blend on high for 45–60 seconds until completely smooth.
- Taste — if too thick, add almond milk by ¼ cup. If too thin, add a few ice cubes.
- Drink immediately for best texture, or refrigerate up to 6 hours.
Notes
The frozen banana and mango completely mask the spinach flavor — you get 2 cups of vegetables with zero vegetable taste. Freeze bananas when they start to brown for the best smoothie sweetness.
