Ingredients

  • 12 eggs
  • 6 cups ice water

Directions

  1. Put 12 eggs directly on the grill grate and smoke for 35 minutes at 300°F. You can boil eggs for 10 minutes instead if you choose.
  2. Remove eggs from smoker and place in a bowl of ice water for at least 5 minutes to cool eggs.
  3. Peel eggs underwater (in a bowl of room temperature water) to prevent the egg white from sticking to the shell.
  4. Place peeled eggs on smoker and smoke for 20 minutes at 180°F with mesquite or hickory wood.
  5. Remove eggs and prepare into your favorite dish!
